'David' and 'Nicole' Together forever or else...

Nicole has always dreamed of meeting someone special - someone who was strong and sensitive and cared about her more than anything else in the world. At first Nicole is mesmerized by David, but before long she begins to see terrifying glimpses of his dark side. All of a sudden her perfect boyfriend has become a nightmare. When Nicole tries to break free, her entire family must draw together to confront David's determined, vicious attempts to take her back.

James Foley directs this suspense thriller, starring Mark Wahlberg as David and Reese Witherspoon as Nicole. William Peterson portrays Nicole's father Steve, who is faced with the grim challenge of protecting his daughter and holding the family together in the face of what becomes a violent crisis. Amy Brenneman is Nicole's stepmother while Alyssa Milano is her best friend Margo.

Mark contributed two songs to the soundtrack for the movie, that unfortunately was never released as a CD.

I found Fear to be a very entertaining movie. Not only do you have Mark Wahlberg who is SE-XY, but the movie itself was freaky. Mark, you play a really convincing psycho. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Ah well, who cares, it was a good movie :) Mark, you were such a bad-ass in it! Good Work :) :)

"Fear" is a great, sexy, thriller that had me biting my fingernails up until the very end. Although it my not be suitable for some audience members (ex. the roller coaster scene) it was really enjoyable for me. Mark is an excellent actor and Reese Witherspoon and he were paired perfectly! It is definitely a must-see!

Mark Wahlberg is truly an amazing actor, with more than alot of talent. He carries himself with such beauty and sexiness. He kisses with just the right amount of care and seductiveness. I respect him for what I have seen of his recent roles, in becoming a serious actor. He is truly a beautiful man.

I loved the movie, even if Mark did play a jerk. However, Mark did an excellent job and protrayed his character very well. I wish you, Mark, the best of luck on your future movies as well as in your own personal life. Keep up the great work, and do not lose your faith in the Almighty. With his guidance, you have succeeded and blossomed into a whole new person. Best wishes and lots of respect and love to you, dear Mark.

Yea yea yea, i agree with everyone in that the movie "fear" Was really exciting and scary and all that, but when i Read through all of the comments, it is kind of imbarassing To read all of the comments submitted by teens my age. I'm Not saying that mark's body isn't sexy or anything, but let's Not get too excessive. It's a little hypocritical to be Writing things like, "when i see that movie, i reach down to My pussy and...." and then complain at all of the people in The world who steriotype teenagers. Sorry, but these are my Feelings, even though he's hot and all, i disagree with you All in your arrangement of priorities

Hey yo!! It's me, Doug. I love Fear. It's so fine. I live across the hall from Maddy and Jody and Princeton University. We have bi-weekly screenings of Fear in my room. Tonight the clubs around here are having Halloween parties and I'm going as Mr. Walker. Jody is going to be Nicole and Maddy is going to be Margo. My roommate Alex K. is going as David. He really lucked out. We had to have a pillow fight to determine who David was going to be. Damn fool. My RA is going as the dog, Kaiser, and this frat boy Matt L. is going as Mark. He has a crush on Maddy, but shhhh, don't tell her. She only has eyes Alex. What a tangled web we weave her at P-ton. Ok y'all, I'm off to watch Fear again. Check ya later. Douggie

Hey Guys and Girls, Jody is my roommate. She's amazing. I love her. But not as much as I love Fear, Marky, and the shrine we have erected in our room complete with a 24-7 playing of Good Vibrations. Yes, that is the only way to go. He is my idol. I would like to hold his hand. He smells really good. Jody does too. Peace out to all you Marky lovers everywhere. We be hangin' tough like Donnie, his bro, and my personal favorite New Kid. What ever happened to NKOTB. What a waste to lose such talent to the new market of music. I'd like to hear some more of them in the future. Or better yet, a CD with Marky and Donnie singing the blues together. Ooo baby. I think there should be a Fear 2 in which Donnie comes back to stalk Nicole. How much would that rock. OK all you homegirls and guys, I'll be chillin' here and talkin' to ya later.

Hi!, I'm Fred from Quebec; I saw the french version of "FEAR" and I think this is the one of the best movies I saw. In my list of movie, I have 7 points wich the first is the best movie, and the seventh is the worst. I put "FEAR" in (3)wich is very good and put it in the category (phsyco thriller, young wave.) The only movie that reach the marks of (1) was "CONTACT". so I liked the role of marky in FEAR and I also liked the SOUNTRACK and most of all the songs: "IRIE VIBE" "GREEN MIND" MACHINE HEAD" "COME DOWN" and "THE ILLEST". So Marky, This is not to late to release your songs, we all want to know what's happened with the sountrack. please tell us or let me a message at my E-mail tanks.

I saw this movie and I thought that Mark really showed everybody that he can act aswell as drop his dacks for Calvin Klein in this movie "Fear". The story line was just great, but the only shitty thing is that there is no soundtrack, which indeed there should be. Mark is so damm fine in this movie, especially at the start, when they are in Largo's Cafe, when he is wearing that black tight skivvy. Boy those muscles. I used love NKOTB especially his brother Donnie, who now is not really well known as Mark, but I still love him, but not as much as Mark now. I don't really care for Mark's music as it is'nt really big. But he will do something soon, I hope. Fear was a smashing hit over here in Australia, but the only let down was that there was no soundtrack. I really want that song (Irie Vibe - One Love) I was so desperate to have it, so I taped it off the television, that's no shit. I hope Mark does some more modelling for Calvin Klein because he is the reason why alot of people buy them. My brothers only wear them because of Mark, not that they are gay or anything but because they want to be as big as him. I also love Antonio Sabato Jnr, another Calvin Klein hottey. Anyway I thought that Fear was the greatist film ever apart from Scream, but Fear dealt with serious issues like to watch out for your boyfriends backgrounds, and the way they obsess over you. I wish that he does some more bad ass acting roles because he did well, Kept up the good work mark.

Hey...all we gotta say is that we loved the movie. Marky Mark's got the fattest body. Props to him. My friend and I are training hard to get that body. But his dinosaur teeth ruined it a little. The rest of the movie was cool too. I loved Alyssa Milano cuz she was the biggest whore. And Nicole was cool too. Steve was a herb tryin' to be tough and the rest was cool too. So now I'm gonna help my friend do "Fear" on this 1 girl he likes...everybody wish us luck. Peace out!

Mark is a very cool actor. He has a well-built body, and is very FINE! When I saw him in "FEAR" for the first time, I could hardly believe my eyes! Marky Mark all grown up! MAN!! That movie has become one of my favorites, one, because of Mark. And two, it also teaches you a good lesson, Watch out who you are with. You don't know his/her backround, so you should always be careful. Mark is a very talented actor. I think he should stay with acting, and stop being Marky Mark, and just be Mark. In my opinion, "Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch" didn't become big. "Mark Wahlberg" did. I LOVE YOU MARK! I LOVE YOU AS AN ACTOR/SINGER! Actually, I'm planning on doing the same thing. I want to be an actor AND a singer. Can Mark give me tips?

I think Mark Wahlberg is a great actor and singer, you have to have talent to be able to act in a movie like Fear, he is also one of the sexiest guys around. Well considering I bought the movie, I think that should tell you how much I like'd it. So lets get right to the point. I really enjoyed the music that was played in the movie and to go along with it, the movie even stresses that it has a killer soundtrack. Now I really wanted to buy this soundtrack, but unfortunately it wasn't release. This really pisses me off. And then I tried to get the song IRIE VIBE (One Love feat. Marky Mark), but this wasn't even released. So finally, I would really appreciate it if the songs would hurry up and get released before pigs start flying. Yours Condentiously snick

I have never ever wanted someone SO bad as I did Marky in this movie. I dont know what he did to me...but all I can say is DAMN! ! ! The first time I saw "Fear" I didnt like him, but that scene on the rollercoaster got me to change my mind. Even if some of you dont think hes that good of an actor, you have to admit that he is the sexiest thing alive. My opinion is he can do anything he wants and still have my heart...hes too hot to get anything less in my book.

I saw Fear and the movie was fair entertainment, but I'm worried about the girls (probably) that writes about his gorgious body, his unappreciated talent and great songs. I've heard and seen it all and frankly; he's just not particularily good at anything. His lyrics (if you please will take the time to listen) doesn't make sense, he acts fair enough (check out Basketball Diaries instead), but even though his body is well-trained - it doesn't look good at all. He's too big and to you guys: girls normally doesn't like big guys (if there are any guys on these pages). To you girls:just try to widen your horizont a bit and check out actors like Gary Oldman or John Malkovich instead.

I just wanted to say that I think fear was an awesome movie! I adore Marky Mark - he is so hot and has the greatest body!!!!!!! I want him to vacuum my house completely naked and serve me chocolates in bed. I really love the song wild horses, by the Sundays and the rest of the movie soundtrack. I think that Mark did a great job acting, but Nicole looked funny. Alyssa Milano was a complete slut in this movie and should have had her ass kicked. All in all the movie was great and Mark is finger lickin good!!!!!!! Good job sexy Marky!!!!!!!

Fear to me was an EXELLENT film. Not alot of people can say so, but they have every right to say what they feel. The only thing I had a problem with was that Nicole gave in to every little thing that Mark said or did. She personaly didn't have much talent. I give the movie a 2 THUMBS UP!!! Ever since I saw the movie I have had the biggest F'ing crush on Mark, he had the moving voice, most beautiful body, and kissed with alot of passion. WE ALL LOVE YOU!!

Mark really bit the big one in this movie!!!! I thought his acting couldn't possibly be cheesier, and he really went overboard. NOT his best effort. I think he should choose a less challenging role next time to show the world what his acting is all about. By the way, I didn't know Donnie (MArk's brother) had a son! Boy, am I dumb, huh? Anyhoo, that's all. Do better next time, Markyboy!!!!!

When my granddad told me about that movie, I went to saw "Fear" at the moment but I can't imagine what kind of Bad boy was Mark, It's one of the best triller movies I saw in my life. And the performance of Mark is really amazing, I won't live with a man like this... Anyway Congratulations!

Fear, in my opinion is an excellent movie choice for those who either WANT Mark, or just want someone who looks like Mark to obsess over them. God knows ever since I've seen the movie, I've been completely obsessed with the idea. Fear had a lot of action and suspense in it, and all the guys I've known liked the movie a lot. I don't think I only liked the movie because of Mark, it was a good movie. Everyone wants someone who's too good to be true to want them back.

After already submitting a review in here, and comming back to check other responces, I am more convinced now then ever that fear was a wonderful, intence, eye catching, suspencful triller that allowed mark to do some great admirable acting and also show himself off a bit. For those of you who say that tis movie sucked or that mark did a bad job first of all: you have no taste for good movies and no eye for good acting. Second of all..obviously you like Mark or you wouldn't be looking at his webpage, unless you came on here just to dis him which shows that you have no lives and so you think to yourself "let's go say shit about Mark wahlberg and piss a bunch of fans off." " yeah and then lets go finish playing with Barbie and ken.." I mean come on you guys. Have a little respect..if you disliked the movie don't sit there and type "YEAH IT SUCKED" or whatever, simply say I didn't like the movie then leave...I'm so sure that mark wants to hear people just baggin on him. Anyway thanks for reading this..if you have comments on my review then write to me or leave your comment on this same page! Thanks!

I'm glad to see that Mark Wahlberg has real talent. Fear showed this. I think everybody should agree when I say Mark was a cheesy rapper. The only thing that came out of his career was guys wearing their boxers higher, and pants lower. The only song that was good and ever got played was Good Vibrations. As for his acting career, there is real hope. I think in all his movies, he's played his character excellently, and I can't wait to see more movies, and more of that GREAT bod.

First of all, the accent. What the hell -- New York or New Zealand?! Second, Nicole, I don't feel like getting you a coke. Third, what was with all those stupid come-on lines? You'd have to be a drunk slut to fall or see into them. Fourth, was the roller coaster scene really necessary? It's not my dream to watch her get off at a carnival. Fifth, NICOLE 4 EVA. What was with that?? Sixth, did anyone else think that the girls' skirts were a bit short? It's not that we hate Marky Mark. In fact, we think he is a pretty good second-rate actor. If you can overlook the fact that he tends to take on too challenging roles. This movie was good at providing us a lot of laughs. Thank you, Marky-Mark!

I'm sorry, but I've changed my mind. I thought I liked this movie, but I was sorely mistaken. I recently rented the video and watched it again, and I have to say that Mark has NO future as a serious actor, and he should really stay in music. His acting is obvious, over-the-top and devoid of emotion. Anyone who says they thought he was great are just blinded by their crushes on him. Anyone looking at this movie with a clear head would see how painfully obvious and stunted his acting abilities really are. His brother Donnie, on the other hand, has a real future in film if he does just what he's doing now-- taking small roles that suit him and slowly fine-tuning his skills to become a better actor. Mark just jumps right in, and that has proven itself in the past with burnout and overhype ( Matthew McConaughey, anyone??? ). Mark would be wise to follow in his older and wiser ( and better-looking ) brother's footsteps.

Fear wasn't at all what i expected. The plot line was not original, but the acting made up for it. Witherspoon and Wahlberg had an intense sexual chemistry which turned me on. I enjoyed watching the character development of David, it was interesting to see the cool David turn crazy. Wahlberg's portrayal definetly made me FEAR meeting some guy at a rave. If you get a chance check Fear out, it is worth the time.

The only reason I first watched Fear was because Marky Mark was in the movie. Beside the obvious fact that this movie RULED!, I suggest that anyone who loves this movie watch it in slow motion and with picture in picture or find someone who has it and watch all the parts with Marky Mark in them!!!!

Well, until I had read this I wasn't aware of how many people were fans of Mark. I live in San Diego and around here all I usually hear is " You mean that new Kids On the Block guy" and then I have to explain. It's nice to actually come to a place where people appreciate him as much as I do. Of course I agree he is the hottest guy in the world, but trying to express that without sounding like a little girl is difficult at times. Fear is my favorite movie, and all the people who say it sucked can kiss my ASS! If anyone knows anything about Mark's next film shoot or anything please E-mail me and let me know. Thanks :o) P.S I Love You Mark (had to add my little girl part)

In "Fear" Mark Wahlberg took on a darker and decidedly more malevolent role. While there was a strong ripple of sexuality throughout the movie, the main dynamic of the film was about power, control, and their perception. Mark's brooding portrayal made that dynamic work. The mounting challenges his character made to the freedom of Nicole's family and the authority of her parents started with an almost innocent ambiguity before the storyline fully confirmed the father's worst fears. Even then, it was totally plausible that the other characters were drawn to Mark's dark menace because of the way he played on their fears and insecurities. While watching the movie, I found myself wondering what a remake of "The Mechanic" with Mark as the ambitious apprentice to, say, Al Pacino or Robert DeNiro as the seasoned assasin might be like. The edge that Mark gave his character in "Fear" certainly was the best indication yet (and there have been many!) that Mark Wahlberg is capable of greater cinematic challenges and achievements. All it would take would be a director like Scorcese to put Mark's considerable talents to good use in the "right" script--as well-written as "Basketball Diaries"--and everyone would have to sit up and take notice.

Fear is my favorite movie and i have seen it about 25 times.(for real) i Think that mark wahlberg is the hottest guy i have ever seen and he should Have gotten an award for that movie. It is the best movie and it has a Great plot. The only thing is that i think margo is really dumb for liking That ugly guy logan. I mean since she is like a slut i would have thought That she would like mark wahlberg since he is the hotter guy. That didn't Really make sense to me. Anyway, this is the best movie of all time and if You know of mark wahlberg being free, please tell him to give me a call, And i'll gladly take him.

I thought there was good plot and character development but it was pretty predictable. I thought the movie really lost it after the classic fight with the father. What was that?! Boy crashes through window and lands on rocks below, roll credits. It could have been a lot better than it was. I didn't like Ms. Witherspoon's dumb expression through the whole movie, plus, she had too many close ups and Mark didn't have enough. I think Mark is a much better actor than Donnie. Mark has some real talent and he is trying new and different things to grow and stretch as an artist. It will take him a while but he will be right up there with DeNiro, Malcovitch, Connery, etc. Mark is like fine wine, he will get better and better with age!! Love ya babe!!

I believed the storyline was okay, but I know that Marky could have done much better. At least they showed some of his nice body, but they should have shown more. I guess I expected more out of the movie, not just some boring "thrills and slow acting. He is really cute, though.

I feel he proved he was alot more than a pretty face in this movie. He was great. I too love Donnie but he wouldn't have played the evil eyed lier that Mark played so fabulously. Donnie has alot of talent and to be honest I think Donnie is better looking, but Mark is the better actor.

I like Mark as much as the next person but Fear was whack! The women were either stupid, infantile or tricks and the plot was too predictable and set up. Basically it was a glorified TV movie. I simply saw it out of support for his career.

Mark was excellent in Fear. He has proved to be a great actor. In Fear, Mark seemed to really become David...He got into the role and did a great job. Nobody could've played the part better. You can only judge the person that has actually played the part, not people that you think would have done a better job.

This movie slammed!!! Mark was awesome, from the first moment we see him, looking up from behind the pool table, with those gorgeous eyes and that ultra-tight long-sleeved shirt, we just know the movie is worth-seeing! But aside from this, his performance was very convincing and menacing, and overall the movie was HOT!!

Mark Wahlberg est un bon acteur. Il communique le souffrance de son personnage trs bien. Mais je pense que son frere, Donnie, est meilleur que lui.

Mister Donnie Wahlberg in my opinion would have made the part more of completion than his brother. But, how ever, Miss Reese Witherspoon have made the film all worthwhile. Thank you, as my English not is good.

This movie sucked. It would have been so much better if Mark's brother Donnie had been given a role. He would have lit up the screen. But Mark was okay,I guess. But I preferred his work in Renaissance Man.

I didn't think I would like this movie, because at first it seemed kind of stupid. But I really got into it. I was just so mesmerized by Mark's gorgeous eyes, it was impossible to resist. I give this movie two very enthusiastic toes up, and I recommend that everyone see it, even people who aren't Mark fans.
